Review: Saturday's Hillary Clinton Rally In East Los Angeles, California

CLINTON EAST L.A. RALLY: First of all, she wants to manage the country...she couldn't even manage to have a working microphone on hand. It was cutting in and out throughout the entire event. (Who's organizing these events?)

Keep Antonio off camera. He comes off like a screaming lunatic. He's worse than Hillary. Three years old like him though, because he only speaks in three word sentences, just like they do. (He should be on Sesame Street. He's already a bunch of peoples' Muppet.)

Janice Hahn, what a shame...if you watch it back on C-Span, she was looking at her watch, impatiently, and made a comment to Wendy Greuesome, just as they cut the the cute couple. (HER bad!)

I'm glad they brought out Magic Johnson to endorse Hillary, because I take my presidential cues from basketball players.

Maxine Waters came out to remind you, "I happen to be a black woman, and I endorse Hillary Clinton." (I guess she mentioned she was black for all the blind people watching.)

Gloria Molina was audibly booed when they announced her.

And of course, anyone who Nucklehead Nunez is endorsing, you obvious take your cue from that and simply vote for anyone else.

Bill Clinton must have had other plans..maybe he was cutting his deal with Obama, because he wasn't anywhere to be seen.

One of the actors from "West Wing" was in the audience. He worked on a TV set that was about the White House, so his endorsement is important. He was literally placed in the best spot, behind Hillary, like a prop, as though some idiots may think, "Oh wow! She has the endorsement of Jed Bartlett's Chief of Staff who is married to the mom from 'Malcolm in the Middle'. I loved it when Jed Bartlett was President. I'm going to vote for Schillary!"

Nunez said there has been a lot of talk about change, but he could barely talk, himself. He must have been screaming at the top of his lungs about something, cause his voice sounded like ZD's after singing "Hell's Bells" one too many times.

HOW CLINTON COULD EVEN PUT NUCKLEHEAD NUNEZ ON STAGE AFTER HEARING ABOUT HIS WINE, TRAVEL AND OTHER LAVISH EXPENDITURES -- AND THE INVESTIGATIONS??? What an insult. And Nucklehead came off a little hostile and angry about his enthusiasm for change. Like when you know you are losing and are getting desperate, so you start getting "whiny" about it.

I'm glad Gray Davis was on hand to endorse Clinton! He did a great job as Governor. The people really liked him. Didn't he get kicked out of office? ARE YOU CRAZY!?!? WHY WOULD YOU EVEN LET GRAY DAVIS ON THE STAGE AT ALL???

The Mayor from Oakland gave a great civil rights speech (really, he was great), then introduced, "Gloria Molendez." Some of you also know her as Gloria Molina.

Now that I see Gloria speaking in a perfectly sane speaking voice; not shouting, screaming and coming off like a maniac nutcase as Villar, Nunez and Schillary do -- maybe they should hire her as their vocal coach. (Group discount)

DAAAAAAAAMN, even ZD has learned not to scream and shout from the podium. Between Clinton, Villar and Nucklehead, The Clinton campaign should be the party for deaf people.

Molina claims that the most polarizing political figure ever (Hillary) is going to "unite us all". Polarizers tend to divide people, not untie. That's why they are polarizing.



Anyway, Hillary just took the stage, and we all know what the sound of her shrill, shrieks do to ZD. Gotta turn her off, like the rest of her former supporters.

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIGURE THIS OUT!!! I AM NOT KIDDING!!! SHE IS INTOLERABLE ON THE MIC. She's screams in monotone. No emotion in her voice. Just a cold, un-emotional tone, with no inflection. Take a listen next time and you will hear it for yourself. A cold, no emotion, no inflection voice. They should record her voice and use it for military interrogation. People would crack more quickly than water boarding. If anyone has the transcript from her speech, I would like to read what she said, cause I sure as hell can't listen to it.

Oh no, she didn't just use Bobby Kennedy in her speech? Did she hear who the family is endorsing? Thanks for reminding me Schillary.

Looking at Clinton and her cast of motley muppets, it's kinda sad that after eight years as first lady, that's all you could muster for support. (Why do you think Times and former supporters are jumping sides? Because THEY KNOW Hillary Clinton.

A basketball player, an actor who PLAYED a role about the White House, a shady-wino who spends public money on expensive wining and dining, Gloria Molina, and a mayor who has lost all support in the community and media alike -- and can only speak in three word sentences. LA Times is endorsing the other candidate. And her biggest assets (Bill Clinton) is now an albatross and they had to keep him off camera. Kinda sad.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL SCHILLARY TO STOP SCREAMING LIKE A MENTAL PATIENT HAVING A TEMPER TANTRUM? (Where's Nurse Ratchett when we need her?) WHEN ARE HER CONSULTANTS GOING TO FIGURE THIS OUT? SHE'S STILL DOING IT!!! Inflection Schillary...learn about it!

And yes Schil...until you have actually BEEN President -- people ARE INDEED taking a chance on you, as much as any other candidate. (She keeps trying to mislead people into making it seem as though she already has experience as President???)

And of course since the Times finally can no longer be seen anywhere near your boss, I mean Villaraigosa -- any more than a travel agent wants to book customers on the Titanic as Kate is reaching for Leo's hand as he sinks away into the abyss -- you better take a shot at them, too.

Are Hillary Clinton political operatives now blogging on the popular Los Angeles Political blog, Mayor Sam's Sister City -- Home of LA Politics, now that the campaign is moving to Southern California.

These sloppy spin doctors are nothing new to the blog, as Hillary Clinton has aligned herself with LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa who personally employs a former Mayor Sam blogger, who Hillary Clinton actually hired for her campaign.

Hey Hillary, gotta watch those rouge bloggers. And remember, if you work for a political campaign and you are blogging, you are supposed to disclose. Otherwise, when people find out, they tend to vote against you and the momentum continues to move toward Obama.

Google ratings mean nothing in predicting election results.

Why not? It only represents active internet users. (Skewing younger, demographically.)

However, during a Presidential election all the little ole ladies and older, non-internet savvy users come out to vote.

So as much as I love Google for all that it is, and am excited about their new "Google Trends" (BETA), this is a very unscientfic analysis, unless you are tending a certain pyschogrpahic.

And now, since it's Sunday...Here's a little political, first amendment humor, brought to you by Election Press' ZUMA DOGG, in Los Angeles, CA. Here's a question I would like to hear Hillary Clinton, and each candidate for US President 2008 to weigh in on.

Oh no...Sen. Chuck Shumer/NY just told Zuma Dogg (indirectly) that we are gonna have a housing bubble-burst and recession starting in about a year. (With the effects starting as soon as six months.) SELL NOW!

They got these things called “sub-prime lending” (high risk, low interest loans). When you have a good economy, you can give some “riskier investments/clients” these low interest loans to jumpstart their American dream of home ownership.

They only pay 1% or 2% the first three years, or so. Then, the rate jumps to the Federal rate (what is it, 5.5%, or something.) Well ZD feels it might go to of 6%, 7% -- is 8% out of the question?)

When the Federal Reserve raises interest rates, more people with subprime loans default. Why? Because these people, coming off 3 year low interst loans, have to jump into a 6% or 7% or even 8 % rate all of the sudden, and they can’t keep up with the new, higher payments each month and then they default.

Well these days, with higer paying jobs being replaced with lower paying jobs; while housing costs, property taxes, and everything else -- people are gonna be defaulting on the loans, more and more. And the banks know that this is going to to become more of a problem, so they are going to stop approving these “low prime lending” rates.

Sen. Chuck Shumer/NY has a bill in congress in about six months to a year they are going to put the clamp down on “sub-prime loans”. This is a major sign that the housing bubble is gonna pop. Then, all these condos will be staying on the market, vacant -- getting cheaper and cheaper by the quarter.

L.A. is leading the nation in this housing bubble burst, as vacany rates in Los Angeles continue to increase, due to people moving out of the CIty for all the reasons stated daily by the pueblos.

Come summmetime fuel prices will go hire and the interest rates will go higher....that means good bye sub prime lending, because the default rate will rise along with it.

Hillary Clinton Campaign Strategy: I think it's your "tonality" they don't like, more than your political views -- and that's a shame.

First of all, hello! Campaign strategy, as it will be covered here, means "Marketing Strategy." Below is a Gallup Poll showing all kinds of statistics regarding people's opinion of Hillary Clinton. Many people admire her for traits like strength, stamina, knowledge, Intelligence, determination, tenacity, perseverance, Forthright and outspoken/directness. (Only 45% favorable though, down from 58% in 12/06.)

And her "unfavorables" are up over perceived traits such as wavers too much on issues to her advantage; wishy-washy, too much of an opportunist and don't trust her.

HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU KIDDIES -- BUT THOSE ARE THE TRAITS OF EVERY POLITICAN!!! Now some of the unfavorables were over he liberal and overall political views, and you are going to take some negatives no matter what your political views are. So let's address the other unfavorable traits...

PEOPLE DON'T VOTE BY LOGIC AND REASON...THEY VOTE BY EMOTION AND FEELINGS. For example, the fact that in the open ended poll, only 1% mentioned Hillary's views on Iraq, as what they liked about her demostrates this marketing principal.

People don't want to sound shallow and un-educated in a poll, so they will come up with reasons like a "wishy-washy, opportunist they don't trust." But again, that's ALL politicians. So why do all the other politicans get a pass, while Hillary takes a hit?

She just rubs some people the wrong way...NOT because of her issues (most of the people who said they don't like her probably agree with her on the most polarizing issue, IRAQ. Yet she is still rubbing people the wrong way. Again, not the issues: Here's the first thing that needs to be addressed: TONALITY. It doesn't matter WHAT you say, if it is being said in an annoying tone. And here's Clinton's problem: When she is at a calm, lower register she is fine...BUT WHEN SHE STARTS TO RAISE HER VOICE, TO RALLY THE TROOPS AND GO FOR THE BIG CHEER...SHE GETS REAL SHRILL SOUNDING. It's a shame. It's not like it's her fault, per se. Perhaps she can work on a "rally to creshendo" voice that is still powerful and loud, but not annoying. Then they don't really know why the don't like you, they just don't...and make up intellegent sounding reasons.
